Back in April, Wallpaper* magazine commissioned us to create some original biscuits to be served at the Wallpaper* Handmade showcase of new British designers at the Milan Design Salone 2010. Choosing a theme of high tea, we created tiny biscuit versions of our favourite tea time treats like Bakewell tarts and lemon meringue pie to go to the show.
To mark the launch of the August edition of the magazine (featuring the Milan exhibitors) the Bakewell biscuits will be available in a larger cookie form as a special edition on our Borough Market and Broadway stalls. The lemon meringue recipe will have the honour of being the first recipe posted on the The Cinnamon Tree Bakery Recipe Blog – look out for it soon.
